Simmi

Simmi was my best friend for the 8 months that I was here preparing for tests, residency applications and travelling for my residency inteviews.

New Beginning

Sometimes the picture getts fuzzy, but mostly I remind myself, of the people I have left behind. The poor Magar whose only hope is god, the mother whose daughter dies of an infection from a thorn-prick, the father who takes his 2 year old son back home to die from anemia because he does not have a few thousand rupees to take him to a better hospital. I rejoice the dream what this training will make possible. That gives me more strength to focus, to really rise above my personal needs, to be the best healer that I can be. I pray to god to keep reminding me of the hundred-thousands of people that I can reach.
